Donald Harrison is Google’s President of Global Partnerships and Corporate Development. As head of Global Partnerships, Don leads Google's strategic partnerships worldwide and is responsible for product and ecosystem enablement and commercial partnerships across Google's product and business groups. Don also oversees the Corporate Development team that handles Google’s global mergers, acquisitions, and investments and has worked on Google’s largest transactions including Deepmind, DoubleClick, Admob, Nest, and Motorola. He also manages Google’s AI-focused venture fund, Gradient Ventures. Prior to joining Google, Don was a lawyer at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where, in 2003, he was first introduced to Google and helped take them public. He started his career at the Toronto law firm of Davies, Ward, Phillips & Vineberg, after earning a degree in political science and philosophy at University of King’s College/Dalhousie University and a law degree from the University of Toronto.
