At Gradient, Jarred oversees firm and fund finance, operations, and legal deal execution. He is also closely involved in compliance and investment-related support, partnering with internal teams, external counsel, and service providers to ensure efficient and disciplined transaction execution. He enjoys supporting Gradient’s founders with financial, operational, and structural guidance, particularly at the early stage when these foundations are being built for the first time.

Previously, Jarred helped scale the finance and operations function at Base10 Partners from an early platform into a large, multi-stage, multi-fund venture capital firm, supporting the firm’s growth across funds, strategies, and global investments. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), currently inactive, and holds a bachelor’s degree Economics and Accounting from the University of Santa Barbara and a Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling and going on hikes in national parks with his pet parrot, Tina.
